Dalia Juodakytė presents artworks from two series – cycle of silkscreen prints “The Feast Of Olympus“ and cycle of paintings titled “S.S.“. Series “S.S. “is based on principles of spontaneity. In the process of creation artist consciously avoided harmony and any predictability. Everything was done so that no movement would become tendentious and the viewer would be able to dive into surrealism of colors and forms. As Dalia Juodakytė says: “Partly this way of painting is a kind of philosophy that resonates with questions which often comes to everyone’s mind: who am I? What to do in my life? What is life? What is happening? These artworks can be the answer.”

Silkscreen series “The Feast Of Olympus“ is based on real, existent antique sculptures. Main purpose of these artworks is to “awaken” gypsum sculptures and convey the spirit of the feast. This festival is enriched with erotic and light flavor of sinfulness. And in the corner as if alive reproach sits „Moses“sculpture made by Michelangelo. As opposite to the rhythm of antique aesthetics the viewer finds strange and ungainly details which add to the artwork frivolity and playfulness. It destroys and supplements at the same time.
