In artist‘s Indra Marcinkevičienė artworks the viewer can feel a strong symbiosis between colour and feeling. Having ability to skillfully control colours artist varies palette of various shades. Gracefully and discreetly in one peace going from one shade to another she creates controlled dance of 30 different colours on one surface. These colours she uses to convey symbolic ideas and visualize emotions which is hard to verbalize.

The eggs is a main motif of the artworks – pano. Here it symbolizes perfection, beauty, productivity and eternity. Since Greek times egg was related with symbol of cosmos, life and fertility which in these artworks works as a reference to magic and endless power source. While using these colours artist proves coexistence between infinity and perfection in this way transforming egg shape into original and aesthetic object.

Two colours – blue and red – here reflects not only traditional elements of water and fire. Blue colour here is masterly combined with green which convey and demonstrate tranquility, soft water flowing and cyclic nature. Red is combustion of creativity, expression of strong emotions like love and hate. It‘s permanent flaming, desire to move on or just brilliant perpetuum mobile. And this is how classical symbolic image and rhetoric of colour connects into one single unit which represents symbolic sense of eternity.
